Really Nice is a single gallery wall on the internet, for displaying digital art. A simple model that helps focus attention on only one thing at a time, in a medium that generally navigates towards noise and overabundance.

For Collectors

For Art Sellers

  • Losing bids earn bidder a profit

  • Bidders also earn points for future GBM token

  • Hyper-focused sales create increased attention on art asset

  • 15% fee (seller keeps 85% of final sale)

  • Focus on existing art (previously minted) not new art

  • Superior price discovery - incentives drive more competition

Really Nice is powered by GBM Protocol. In a GBM auction, every bidder gets rewarded, not just the winner. This transforms auctions into high-engagement, high-efficiency tools for uncovering true market value. Beyond the technology, RN is curated and led by BORED.

All bids and winners are recorded for provenance purposes and future activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Really Nice, powered by GBM Auctions, is designed in a way that a small portion of each bid is used to deliver a fee to the previous high bidder. This helps incentivize more bidding and drives higher final auction prices.

  • The protocol powering Really Nice, GBM, has a token named $GBM. Community allocation of this token is designated for bidders in various GBM powered auctions and bidding on RN auctions may earn “XP” for future GBM airdrops. Learn more here.

  • Really Nice is NOT a marketplace. It will only ever sell one item at a time, and each item for sale will be curated. Think of it more like boutique, not a department store.

  • With minimal except, digital art sold via Really Nice will be on the Ethereum blockchain. However, to ensure low fees for bidders, bids will take place on the Base blockchain, a “Layer 2” version of Ethereum.

  • If you win an auction, your wallet will receive a “coupon” on the Base Chain. You will be able to trade in that coupon for the action piece of art. Alternatively, you can transfer or sell that coupon so it can be claimed by another wallet.

  • Typically, Really Art will auction art that is currently owned by a collector, with no connection the original artist. We believe that artists are typically the best source for buying new original art. RN focuses on the secondary market.
